Girls on the Run is a youth development program that teaches girls about confidence, positive self-image, and physical activity through interactive lessons, games, and running. Girls get to learn about themselves while forming strong friendships and having fun!
Participants will celebrate completion of the program with the Girls on the Run 5K on Saturday, May 4 at Children’s Mercy Park. Registration opens on February 9th at www.gotrkc.org!
Ages: 8-11
Fee: $165, payment plans and financial assistance available
Duration: 10 weeks (February 25- May 10)
Practice times: Tuesday & Thursday from 3:30-4:30 @ Benner Park
