Second graders recently learned about the sun, light, and heat. We also learned what materials would be great for increasing heat and using as insulation. After this understanding, we tested our homemade ovens with s’mores. Although it was a pretty big mess, the kids and a few ants enjoyed the treats, and everybody's chocolate and marshmallow melted.
